Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Sheryl and I am a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) of 3 young children, ages 4, 3 and 1. We, like everyone else in the US, have been negatively affected by the economy. No job loss, luckily, but pay cuts. My husband has worked for the State of Florida since 2007 and to this day has not received a pay increase, nor cost of living adjustment, at all. In fact, next month, his pay will be CUT as State employees will be required to contribute 3% of their pay to their pension. This wouldn't necessarily be that big of a deal if he made a little more and/or got a few raises over the past four years.
On this site I am planning on doing a show-and-tell sort of thing. I will be sharing with you some of my crafts, yard sale finds, as well as updates and super deal finds in the store. I will also add that I have links on this page that will hopefully generate a little aid, but if you feel driven to, please donate using the little 'Donate' button at the bottom of the page.
